ABOUT ABBY

Not even congenital hearing loss was going to stop Abby Brown from becoming an all-around Americana-pop singer, songwriter and performer. Abby found her true calling in music - and never wavered from pursuing her dream.

Her first live gigs started at the age of seven in her then hometown of Boston, where she soon rose to prominence at the local level both as a solo performer and with two of her sisters in a band that would eventually become known as Flatiron Junction. The sister trio has since performed around the country, and most notably, the National Anthem at Boston's legendary Fenway Park and at Coors Field for the Colorado Rockies.

Based on the critically-acclaimed success of her debut EP “Gypsy Soul”, Brown released her second EP "Heart on Fire". Both records are on the Pure Music Nashville label, which signed Abby in 2016 when an A&R rep for the label first heard her perform.

“Abby is a force to be reckoned. She brings a refreshing playfulness and serene soul into the Americana genre. We are honored to have her on our label and witness her grow as a songwriter, vocalist and musician.”
— Luke Bulla, Grammy winning artist & Pure Music Nashville Partner

Abby is releasing new music in 2024 inspired by her trials and tribulations looking for love and finding herself along the way. “Highway, Take Me Home” is her latest single, an ode to Boulder, Colorado, which she calls home.

Her music is influenced from a variety of genres including Americana, Bluegrass, Country and Pop, and from artists like Alison Krauss, The Chicks, Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves.
